McManis Faulkner managing partner Elizabeth Pipkin has been included on the list of “Leading Commercial Litigators 2024” published by the Daily Journal, California’s largest legal newspaper. The annual listing honors “the best attorneys working within the broad scope of commercial and bet-the-company litigation across the country.” This is Pipkin’s third award from the Daily Journal in the past year.
The Daily Journal discusses Pipkin’s sophisticated and many-layered litigation for Silicon Valley tech companies and executives.
“I think that Santa Clara County Superior Court, in particular, is somewhat ground zero for a lot of the cutting-edge litigation in the Silicon Valley,” Pipkin notes in her profile.
The profile goes on to outline Pipkin’s recent successes in trade secrets, breach of contract, and class action cases, as well as her representation of executives in business-entangled family law matters.
In her practice, Pipkin represents companies and individuals in a wide range of disputes, including those involving technology, trade secrets, complex commercial issues, and civil rights matters. She is the immediate past president of the Board of Trustees for the Law Foundation of Silicon Valley, overseeing the organization’s various social justice initiatives in the community. In addition, she recently co-chaired the Ninth Circuit Lawyer Representatives Committee for the Northern District of California. Pipkin is a member of the Executive Committee of the Harvard Law School Association of Northern California. She received her J.D. from Harvard Law School (2001) and her B.A. from Brigham Young University (1998).
