Michael Reedy Comments on Strength of Legal Community During Uncertain Times

In an article for the Daily Journal, partner Michael Reedy reports a recent Ingram Inn of Court meeting held via Zoom, which not only showed the perseverance of the Ingram Inn members to continue their meetings during the COVID-19 pandemic, but also how the legal community has stuck together in a period of uncertainty.

For this meeting, Michael arranged a lineup of 25 speakers, which included judges, law professors and law students, for an audience of 80 viewers. Altogether, this meeting instilled a sense of camaraderie and compassion. Michael explains: “We saw and felt the range of our community, and it strengthened every one of us.”

Michael challenges his readers to find a way to communicate what they are experiencing during this crisis with other lawyers, judges and law students. He says: “Find a way to bring different voices together, to listen to each other, to learn. As you support each other, our community grows in strength. We can and we will survive, together.”
